UMG Artists Shine at the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards
List of UMPG GRAMMY winners
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were held last night in Los Angeles and featured many buzz-building performances from some of UMG's biggest artists. Lady Gaga took home three awards and performed her brand new single, "Born This Way."
Esperanza Spalding was this year’s surprise winner for Best New Artist. Eminem took home two awards and performed his massive single "Love The Way You Lie" with Rihanna.
Dr. Dre joined Eminem, the leading nominee, for a rendition of their single "I Need A Doctor" which brought the audience to its feet. Rihanna did a sizzling rendition of "What’s My Name" with Best New Artist nominee, Drake.
Other UMG artists performing included Florence Welch, who performed "Think" during the show’s opening tribute to Aretha Franklin. Justin Bieber was also on-hand to perform. His set began with an acousitc rendition of "Baby" which then lead into the lead track from his new film ("Never Say Never.")
