Yeah Yeah Yeah's New Album "It's Blitz" Has Arrived!

You've heard the rumours... the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are back with a vengeance! The new album from the trio, It's Blitz! is available NOW in digital format, and will be released in CD format in the US on March 31st, and internationally on April 6th. We know you're excited for this one music fans!
The first single from It's Blitz!, "Zero", is an instant classic, melding their high-energy rock with dance-floor ready electronica. The single, which is available everywhere right now, is indicative of what lead singer Karen-O has called the band's "death grip on the adolescent way of feeling things," and as a result the euphoric anthem seems destined for greatness.
It's Blitz! is the Yeah Yeah Yeah's first album since 2006’s Show Your Bones, a classic record that has been described as "one of the albums of the decade" by NME Magazine. It’s Blitz! was recorded with Nick Launay (producer of YYY’s 2007 released “Is Is” EP) and longtime collaborator TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, who encouraged guitarist Nick Zimmer to "rip up what [he knew]" and abandon his guitar for a plethora of new instruments including a synth keyboard he picked up on eBay.
It's no wonder the songs on It's Blitz! are so eclectic; recording the album took the urban-dwelling rockers on quite a journey, from the snowy peaks of rural Massachusetts, to the blistering heat of the barren Texan desert, and back to Brooklyn in their native New York.
Make sure you go buy your copy of It's Blitz!, out now as a digital album, and on March 31st in CD and Vinyl format.
